In this work, the seventh in the series, I sought to capture the diffused light of a sunrise through the trees. The use of watercolor and white gouache is a deliberate choice here to convey the fluidity and transparency of the elements. The delicate shades evoke a peaceful dawn at the edge of the woods, inviting contemplation. The symbolic lines of the trees which plunge their roots into the river remind us of the alliance of earth and water. My hope is that this painting brings a touch of serenity to your interior.
The watercolor on 21x29.7 cm paper was pasted on white grained paper and 30x40 cm wood cardboard. It can be placed directly in a 30x40 cm frame
